Mentorship and Supervision

There are many gray areas in this profession; however, one constant we'll all have to confront is the learning curve. Every early career school psychologist enters the field resolute, yet at times, in need of support. I remember those days, and I am here for yours. Whether it be guidance on a case, an opportunity to talk an assessment out, specific/theoretical questions, or how to prepare for a difficult meeting and conversation, I offer support and a safe space for you to find your bearings, confidence and professional voice as you launch your career.

Having Narges as a mentor the past 4 years has not only helped me develop my skill set, but has also built my career-confidence. "Narges took the time to provide me with unparalleled supervision and training during a global pandemic in order to enhance my career and livelihood. I feel so fortunate to have had Narges as my supervisor for both my practicum and clinical internship. She brings with her an extraordinary amount of knowledge and experience from all avenues related to school psychology. Narges’ ability to create a safe and welcoming learning environment to allow me to make mistakes in order to learn and grow speaks to her natural leadership and mentorship abilities. Narges’ encouragement, friendship, generosity, and time that she has invested in mentoring me means the world and holds a special place in my heart. She has helped model for me the extraordinary school psychologist I hope to become. Thank you for everything!"
